Jeg Ingeborg Keldsdatter af Fjælkestad hilser alle, der ser eller hører dette brev læse, evindelig med Gud. Det skal være vitterligt for alle, at jeg på Villands herredsting har solgt og skødet alt mit gods, som jeg havde i Råby i Fjælkestad sogn, med alt dets tilliggende til en velbyrdig mand, hr. Aksel Pedersen af Härlöv, ridder, på hans søns vegne. Fremdeles forpligter jeg mig og mine arvinger til, at fri ham for enhver mands krav på fornævnte gods. English translation (my own):
I, Ingeborg Keldsdatter, of Fjælkestad greet everyone who sees or hears this letter read, forever with God. It must be true for all that at Villand's county council I have sold and deeded all my estate, which I had in Råby in Fjælkestad parish, with all its adjoining to a well-to-do man, Mr. Aksel Pedersen of Härlöv, knight, on his son behalf. I still commit myself and my heirs to release him from any man's claim on the said estate. Furthermore, I have the aforementioned Ingeborg elected the aforesaid Mr. Aksel as my guardian and lord so that I shall not sell or dispose of any of my estates without his will and advice. As a testimony to this, my seal is hung under this letter as well as seals belonging to the well-to-do and good men, namely Niels Svendsen, knight, and Niels Bentsen, inhabitant of Vä. Given in the year 1408 of the Lord on the day of the bishop and the glorious martyr Saint Dionysius.
