Solveig Þorleifsdóttir declares that she has paid for Reverend Sigmund Steindórsson to Bishop Ólafur to pay him twenty hundred according to their letter of reconciliation, but separates himself and his heirs so much in Flatatunga, which she completes or has completed, but declares that Jón Sigmundsson does not allow the mortgaging of the land.

Þath giore ek solueig þorleifsdotter godum monnum kvnnegt med þessv minv opnv brefi ad eg medkennvmzt ad ek hefer j borgan geinget fyrir sira sigmund steindorsson ad liuka biskup olaf a holvm tiutige hvndrada med suo dan skilmala ok salastefnvm sem j þeirra sættarbrefi stendur skrifad vtan þat eina ad ek skip aptur vnder mik ok mina erfingia suo miked upp j jordina flatatungu sem ek lyk eda læt ek livka. matti ok jon sigmvndzson alldre fyrnefnda jord flatatungu setia til panta vit nockvrn man þui hann ueit vel hversv hans bref þar um giort vtuisar.
