Birgitte Gøye (born 1511, died July 26, 1574) was a Danish county administrator, lady in waiting, landholder and noble, co-founder and principal of Herlufsholm School.
In this letter to Oluf Mouritsen Krognos, Birgitte tells him that his mother is in Skåne and needs his help a lot. She urges him to shun his drinking habit, which is so harmful to him. She and Herluf Trolle are traveling to a wedding and she expresses hope to meet with him if possible.
