Monsieur mon beau pere
Je nay pas voulu manquer a vous escrire pour vous renouelles les assuranc Assurance de mon extreme Joy de recevoir de vos Lettres, car cest vne de Plus grand contanteman que ie pius receuoir que dantandre que vous est an bonne sant, car il ni a personne qui'l le souhaite auec Plus quelle de passion que moy qui demevrera toute ma vie

English translation:

Sir my father-in-law,
I did not want to fail to write to you to renew to you the assurances of my extreme joy at receiving your letters, for it is one of the greatest contentments that I can receive than to hear that you are in good health, for there is no one who wishes it with more passion than me, who will remain all my life, sir, my father-in-law,
