The letter:

June 23. 1916
BUCKINGHAM PALACE
The Lady in Waiting is commanded by the Queen to thank [illegible] E. H. Baker for her letter & for sending the little garments made out of stockings — Which interested Her Majesty very much & she thinks them very well made & contrived & that they will be very useful.
